The Herno valet tray is designed to hold our everyday items when entering and leaving the home: the keys left on the table, the rings removed at the end of the day, the little routine that marks the transition between outside and inside.
The tray is a continuous band of double dark brown leather, soft to the touch yet with a compact structure. The hand-sewn stitching marks the edges, which are polished in colour using traditional artisanal techniques. The thick polishing brings the leather to life on the surface, revealing a warm, deep hue.
The oak below, which is visible and deliberately not hidden, adds presence: a solid, natural base with a grain that gives momentum to the design.
