The matches are kept in their own box, designed to keep them tidy and enhance the aesthetics of the piece at first glance. The base is made of solid wood, internally reinforced with stainless steel and wrapped in a double dark brown hand-stitched leather. The sides feature built-in discreet and functional striking strips.
Protecting it all is a conical borosilicate glass cloche, blown by hand using the traditional lampworking technique on a lathe. The top features a leather band branded with the Herno logo, elegantly knotted to elevate the design.
