Talking contemporary art with Claudio Marenzi, Herno President

Claudio Marenzi's relationship with modern art has very distant roots and has grown stronger over time. Its impact on Herno—a family-run business—has been a positive one indeed. After all, the bond between fashion and modern art is undeniable: “being surrounded by beauty helps you make something beautiful”
(Claudio Marenzi)

In 2005, Claudio Marenzi's personal collection began making its way into the company,
breathing new life into the Lesa-based production sites and inspiring its staff and employees.
Art has become a useful and necessary tool, as well as a source of excitement
generating curiosity and creativity.

Here, there are works by artists like Patrick Tuttofuoco, Nicolas Party (painter of the large mural),
Stefano Arienti, Adrian Paci, Andrea Bowers, Stefano Peroli, Vik Muniz, Gianni Caravaggio,
Gianfilippo Usellini (painter of an unfinished portrait of Claudio's father Cav. Giuseppe Marenzi), Markus Lüpertz,
Luca Andreoni, Marco Cingolani, Massimo Kaufmann and Lee Jaehyo, whose recent large installation
"0121-1110=118081" was created with stones from the Erno River in the shape of Claudio's beloved Lake Maggiore.

Art also takes centre stage in the Spazio Henro showroom in Milan, featuring “Fair Winds & Following Seas” and “Fantasia”
created by Pae White and Latifa Echakhch—two renowned modern artists—respectively.
